Giovanni and Liam

This was taken whilst on assignment for the European Press Agency, it was the managerial debut for Republic of Ireland soccer manager Giovanni Trapattoni, and in the background is Liam Brady who was instrumental in bringing Trapattoni to Ireland, I also like the green between the two men.

Volunteer Dean

This image was taken whilst on assignment for the Meath Chronicle's Inspire Magazine, it was for a story about a Dean (Robert Jones) based in Trim who does volunteer work for the Niall Mellon Township Trust in South Africa.

Two fans converge on yellow steps

This photo was taken on Saturday 24th June, 2008 whilst on assignment for the Irish Examiner, it was the longest day of the year and I liked the distance between the two football fans, the green of the barrier and the yellow of the steps. It was taken at Pairc Tailteann, the home of Meath GAA. Although the barrier creates a distance between the two men the yellow seems to bring them together. They are watching a game of football between two Meath teams - Seneschalstown and Wolfe Tones.
